In this video I give you everything you need to start understanding APIs.

An example of something we cover is when to use variables in the path (such as `users/5`) compared to URL parameters (`users?id=5`). As well as the proper response structure from a RESTful API.

Life Updates

I've shifted my full focus to YouTube and courses. It will take a lot of consistency and effort to get things rolling like they used to, but I am dedicated to this mission!

For those of you interested in the numbers, my peak viewership was Oct 2020. I brought in 1.1M views. I am going to be pushing very hard to get back to this level and beyond! Compare this to last month I brought in 310K views.

Course Updates - Upcoming DSA and System Design Topics

As I wrap up the fundamentals course content I am planning my vision for my data structures and algorithms course. As well as system design.

This isn't 100% set in stone, but I am thinking I will be bundling DSA + system design together and opening early access in 2 weeks.

Additionally, I am considering offering a bonus course where I walk you through a number of Leetcode problems, helping you apply the DSA topics directly to questions you may see in interviews.

All together, this collection will give you all the computer science theory and fundamentals for DSA/system design as well as give you practice implementing DSA solutions.

What's Next?

For me: Get ahead on the YouTube content, finish recording fundamentals lessons, prep the DSA + system design launch for later this month :)
