You may have noticed an increase in talk from me about my new courses. It's not random, it's part of a larger picture... We'll be releasing a series of courses that stack, bringing you to an advanced level of software engineering. This is a multiple month endeavor, but I wanted to share with you so you can see that progress over time.
This new roadmap will end with a grand finale at the end of this year, I'm super excited for this journey but most of all I am excited to share it with you and have you be a part of it. Let me walk you through everything...

Recently finished our brand new 2025 production roadmap! Surprise!

Right now, we are building the foundation of this entire roadmap. We are laying the foundation of your career. This is why we released the fundamentals course, it's what everything else is built on.
This course release roadmap is meant to be a step-by-step process to help you master the complete software engineering stack, making sure we don't miss a single gap that would be needed to make you a master at backend engineering, DSA, system design, interviewing, frontend for backend engineers, and now even utilizing AI as a modern software engineer.

At the end of this year, we will have a grand finale to celebrate the creation of this roadmap with the most insane launch to finish the year.

My Latest Video

In my latest video I talked this new topic that I'm exploring... what is it, what is it Caleb? Well... I guess the thumbnail already gave that away haha.
​I don't typically make content on AI, originally I planned to make a section on AI in the fundamentals course that I released recently. AI is now a core part of mastering software engineering and passing interviews.

I realized the fundamentals course was getting too long, and AI for software engineers deserved its own course so I could provide more value and it's easier to keep the material up to date! To be 100% clear, this course is not about being an AI engineer or vibe coding, it's about how to be an AI-native engineer with important AI tools and software integrations.

AI I teach is not designed to replace you, but advance your abilities. Basically combining regular software engineering with AI to increase your productivity and market value.

You can check out the video for more info, but I 1 specific goal, which is to get software engineers up to speed on modern AI capabilities. In the video I clearly explain the one reason I built this course, and why and how you should adapt to become more valuable in this market today instead of being at risk of being laid off.

Hint: As a modern software engineers you need to get these 3 topics mastered:

1. AI tools - the important ones
2. prompt engineering
3. Integrating AI into your own applications - LLMs, AI APIs, etc.

Life Updates

I told you that I was going to focus more on creating top notch tech content on YouTube again. That's exactly what I'm working on right now. My throat is getting sore already from recording a bunch of new material. 2 videos published to YouTube so far, a bunch more videos coming real soon! This will probably be the focus of the next weekly newsletter, my plans and roadmap for the YouTube channel content.

I'm thinking we will make our upcoming video ideas and notes public. Then, you'll be able to see what is coming and give early feedback.

But, I have so many things in motion right now, i first need to get back in to the flow of creating consistent content.

I mentioned the new roadmap, been working on that since a while now and am excited to start working towards a bigger picture. Currently we are laying the foundation for the roadmap and your entire career
